My husband in the past when I shared things with him would ask for evidence and and at times in a court of law. He's eased up on that a little seeing how corrupt things are, but his standards of proof have rubbed off on me especially now in the context of AI.
It's never wrong to consider sources.

One reason to push for AI to be used by the public could be that it makes a perfect argument against every video, picture and soundtrack.
Anything can be explained or at least made under the suspicion of being AI fakery.
While on the other hand. AI will also be used to frame people. Since it works 2 ways. The courts hold the real power.
And who are in the courts? Who are the most prominent judges and what are their affiliations.?
