I was friends with Jesse Marcel Jr. whose father was the Intel officer who was the first person on site at the Roswell UFO crash. Jess died in 2013. He was a Flight Surgeon with Blackhawk crews in Iraq. I still have photos he sent me from his tour in Iraq. I asked Jess once if he wanted to be remembered as a ENT doc or a military officer. He responded "a military officer."
