I guess I'll be dead by the time, if ever, my daughter will believe this. I pray for vindication as to why I refused the booster, resulting in being kept away from my first grandchild until he was 6 months old.
It's a hole in my heart that will never be healed, nor will she allow it. "Trust the science, she keeps saying. I don't try to tell her, anymore, that science lied to her.
Today's science is a cult.
NIH had a report on their website that chloroquine and the milder hydroxychloroquine both prevented and cured covid. It was there all along. Just saw it the other day. I can try to find it again if you think it will help.
Thanks for the offer, but my daughter & I don't discuss most topics that can lead to a fight. Not the weather (climate change) , not sports (transgenders competing against women), and certainly not politics or science. Miss PhD knows everything.
She was always brilliant and stubborn. Academia made her stupid.
Sorry to hear that. The fact that they hid the truth and it's provable says much.
You can trust the science though, if you can get to it—you just can't trust the corrupt scientists.
I used to trust scientists. But back then, the mantra was to go where the facts and data took you, even if you didn't like the ending.
In the last couple decades, however, things changed. "Scientists" developed theories and looked for data to support them.
Not the same thing at all.
Many are corrupt stooges. Grant providers want specific outcomes and so the "scientists" find a way to make it happen so they keep getting money.
I'm an easy sell on Ivermectin and Chloroquine. When my husband's Covid went sideways and then he developed tonsillitis on top of it, I gave him Ivermectin and a nebulized solution of iodine. It kept him out of the morgue, I'm convinced.
