Trump was always a NY Republican, but it suited him better when he was outside of and against the system, rather than being the face of it.

@threalist He's gets slammed pretty good. MAGA doesn't want war, but at the same time, we can't be passive. We can, however, passively save a lot of money and not protect other countries. We're in unprecedented territory that's been escalating since Carter from being passive. Iran will retaliate, but it was going to anyway. We can argue our ideology all day long. In the end, it stopped nothing.
