More siding contractor drama
They detached our meterbox last week Wednesday. Told me to call the power co. They said it’s not an emergency and make sure it’s done. Ok. I was busy. Saturday night storms come through. BOOM! that was close. Our power goes on off on off on off … off. Hhm I remember our power box. Text siding guy. Since our neighbors power went out too it’s not the meter box. Then says I should have called. WTF. I google. It’s a BFD. Not an emergency but a BFD.

I am overtired. Stressed. And I was triggered by the blame game. Wait a minute. It was their job to advise us in advance and prepare for this. Next I look over photos. To their credit your project has a website and the upload progress photos. I take a look and on Day 1 his sub funds vent pipe had nails in it and nail holes. And they proceed to cover it up.
They are coming this week and so is our plumber to fix it right.
3/? I’ll be so happy when this is done. They overall did good work. Our bay window looks amazing. It had so much rot and the basically rebuilt it. They mean well, but communication sucks, planning meh. They don’t want to stop and take care of issues but finish quickly to get to the next project. But then things happen and you wind up having to come back anyway.

The whole experience has taught me a lot. I definitely have more peace and confidence in God.
What was God trying to teach me through it all?
That’s for another time
hints: patience, forgiveness, strength, calling on him.
