It really is uplifting and I needed it today, not about politics, but I just got frustrated with a task at hand that should have been easy-peasy but wasn't and for some reason I felt myself get so frustrated!! Your music link, then lunch, then peppermint tea seemed to work wonders for me.

It’s one of the things I miss about Greece. I would go at five in the morning to the main church on the island… it had a small monastery… the monks chants in the dark empty church… two monks and me… what an ethereal experience.

Yes… a special place… Agios Dionysios… St Dennis… the patron Saint of the island… his relic is contained in an adjoining chapel.

Limnos is east of Greece off the coast of Turkey… Zakynthos is off the west coast…. in the Ionian sea.

Much of my time there felt quite surreal… magical places… like Delphi… Olympia… Corinth… the Acropolis and the area around it. It was always nice having visitors… an excuse to tour around over and over again… seeing through the eyes of others. Lots of cherished memories.

Corinth always brought this to mind.

I’ve only been out of the county once in two years… I can’t even be in the car for more than 20 minutes before everything starts going to shit. I certainly keep the hope that I can return for a nice long visit!
