THREAD
I wanna talk about what I call "The Narrative".
Before starting, I better explain what I mean by "the narrative". This used to be a bit of a complex idea but now I can just point at Facebook Fact Checkers: Whatever those guys INSIST is the truth is "the narrative".

I think most of us can now understand what the narrative is by using Fact Checkers as an example.

The insulin seems to be working. My cat is acting more and more like himself every day, which is encouraging.

Attempting to apply for an apartment in Orlando FL. I hope the place I apply for accepts because I had to pay an application fee for both myself & my husband. :( So expensive!

I gotta tell ya, it's really difficult to get a diabetic cat to eat for his insulin shots when he doesn't feel well and hates the "kidney friendly" food you're giving him. I can't give him regular food because his kidneys are super stressed from his diabetes. And even if I could, there's no guarantee he'll eat it. He's extremely wishy-washy about what food he'll eat-- sometimes he'll like it once and then turn his nose up later. 😭 😭 😫

PPS: And apparently it was District 4. I'm the worst at the telephone game, let me tell you...

PS: I just realized my original post sounded misleading. Ezell is over 53% and I think Palazzo is at 47% or something.

If Palazzo loses, the only one who will be surprised is him. Everyone had a very "meh" attitude about him.

He wasn't bad he was just.... bland. He seemed to dislike confrontation (which is presumably why he barely contacted his district). In a pre-Trump era his attitude was acceptable, but post-Trump, that kind of lukewarm attitude leaves a bad taste in GOP voters mouth's.... or so I gather from my Mom's attitude. Basically he wasn't "enough".

Southern MS, District 2, Palazzo vs Ezell. Over 80% of the vote is in and Ezell is leading by over 50%. My parents live in that district and my Mom watched the debated (okay, she skimmed through it to find the juicy bits). The general sense with Palazzo was that he didn't stay in touch with D2 & basically never contacted anyone except for holidays & before elections.

The crazy thing is I've suspected he might be diabetes prone since I got him. I've had his levels checked twice. Once was last year. So in a year time he went from fine to yikes!

My cat has diabetes! I think we caught it early enough that he should survive. He's on insulin right now, plus pain medication because they think he's got arthritis in his hips. His kidney's aren't doing great either but I can't imagine they would be if he's got diabetes.....

I'm not sure if my cat has an infection or kidney failure, but he's not doing well right now. I've got an appointment for Wednesday but I'm hoping I can get him in tomorrow if there's a cancellation or something. I really really hope it's not kidney failure. I've only had him for 2 years and he's only 7 years old. It'd break my heart if I have to put him down so soon.

The funniest thing is the heaviest rioting is going to happen in states that have very liberal baby-murder laws on the books. They're going to get TRASHED even though baby murder is still very legal there. And the reason they'll get trashed is because the rioters will be viewed as "mostly peaceful". 😂

I can only hope that all the pro-abortionists stay in their death cult states from now on. These kinds of extremists typically think men are evil, don't get married or stay married, and have very few children. They will kill themselves off slowly until the only things lefts are gangs (from single parent households) or a pro-life community. :)

If I weren't dealing with an ear infection I'd be drinking alcohol right now.

It seems to me the DNC is desperate for ANYTHING to get done that will make them look good at this point. And usually when they do things out of desperation it ends up biting them in the butt later. So my guess is both these bills (the Amnesty bill I haven't heard any details on), will end up biting them in the butt later.
Just my guess though.

And while I think the "Gun Control" bill is dumb & I'm alarmed about the amnesty bill, these are not what Biden campaigned on. The DNC is probably hoping it will help (in the midterms) getting these 2 things in, but I don't think it will. B/C they're ignoring the things people (their OWN people) actually care about.

My very unprofessional opinion:
I wonder if the GOP/RINOs are throwing some bones to the DNC because they know in Nov the House is going to majority GOP. And those GOP (some which will be MAGA) won't let something like a Gun Control or Amnesty through. If they don't do it now, it won't get done in the next 2 years. And congress survives off the "you scratch my back, I scratch yours". RINOs do something "nice" now, then call the favor in later.
