the problem with was that people were slaves of their instance owners who decided for them what they could follow and what not

I have seen this in practice by using a heavily blocked instance .com

may have the answer to these problems, nostr gives the choice to the individual user

what I like with freeatlantis.com is that you don't need to subscribe to any ideology for to sign in.

it was the only one I found in that category when I was looking for an alt-account

Typing this from my development version of mammudeck.com. I'm switching from agog.ninja to that for a while. Things to do:

1. Login to doesn't work (there's a wizard workaround).
2. Server per column, instead of per login.
3. Number 2 enables quick cross-posting.
4. S3 persistence for state (currently it uses LocalStorage)
5. User profile pop-up

MammudeckMammudeckMammudeck is a TweetDeck-like columnar interface to Mastodon/Pleroma.

I saw eight anonymous posts in a row with .com that made me look.

I had noticed that folks were not posting and i was not happy with the atmosphere, either. I did not know that some of these folks got kicked off until I actually came here and they told me, like Megas and Estherwilnot.
