@BylineTimes

“After supporting Putin over Ukraine, Trump's plans for Greenland, the Panama Canal, and Canada aren't just idle talk. Neither is military action in Mexico”

Israeli forces strapped explosives around the neck of an elderly Palestinian man in Gaza and forced him to act as a human shield before killing him and his wife, an investigation by the Israeli news website HaMakom has revealed.

The Palestinian man, who has not been named but is believed to have been well above the age of 80, was told that if he did not carry out the searches Israeli forces would detonate the explosives and "blow off his head."

“The portrayal of Hezbollah as a waning force in Lebanon, politically and militarily, isn’t only wrong but reflects a serious misunderstanding of the group’s resilience and the broader geopolitical dynamics in the region”

Former Qatari PM Hamad al-Thani advises the new Syrian government “not to get preoccupied” with fighting Israel now

After Assad was overthrown, the Qatari billionaire took to X to offer advice to the Syrian rebels. He urged them to refrain from “focusing on Israeli threats and violations.” Instead, he suggested they pursue “legal means” through the United Nations.

While conceding that such efforts “might not actually get anywhere,” he suggested that it would at least be “taken into account” by the international community.

Isn’t it just lovely?

As if Israel has EVER cared about what anyone else, specially UN thinks and says. Wasn’t it for Hezbollah’s decades of fight against Israeli occupation, southern Lebanon would look like occupied west bank or Golan Heights right now.

#Netanyahu:
"I say to Iran in no uncertain terms - to prevent you from harming us, we'll continue to act against you as necessary, in every arena & at all times,"
"I'd like to both clarify and warn: We are committed to preventing #Hezbollah from rearming,"

"Hezbollah Secretary General Naim Qassem said it bluntly yesterday: 'Hezbollah has lost its military supply route through Syria.' These words are, of course, further evidence of the severe damage we have inflicted on the entire Iranian axis,

I recall that for decades #Syria has been an active enemy state of àIsrael. It has attacked us again & again, it has allowed others to attack us from its territory, it has allowed Iran to arm Hezbollah through its territory,"

"So I want to say something about Syria - we have no interest in confronting Syria,

Together with Defense Minister #Katz, I've directed the #IDF to thwart potential threats from Syria, & to prevent terrorist elements from taking over near our border,

To ensure that what was, will not be again, we have taken a series of intense actions in recent days,"

"I discussed all of this again last night with my friend, US President-elect Donald #Trump. We talked about the need to complete Israel's victory, "

Algeria: Ministry of Foreign Affairs:We strongly condemn the Zionist entity's army's violation of Syria's sovereignty and its aggression against its lands after seizing the buffer zone

We condemn the repeated attacks by the occupation army against Syrian facilities and institutions, which have recently escalated

The Zionist entity is trying to impose a new reality that is consistent with the expansionist and settlement policy pursued by the occupation authorities

We call on the international community to take a unified position that preserves the security, safety and territorial integrity of #Syria

How a Syrian Rebel Went From an American Jail to Seizing Aleppo

Abu Mohammed al-Jawlani boarded a bus in Damascus in March 2003, heading across the desert to Baghdad with fellow volunteers eager to repel the looming American invasion of Iraq.

When he returned home in 2011, after a five-year stint in an American-run prison camp in Iraq, it was as the emissary of Islamic State founder Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Jawlani arrived in Syria with bags full of cash, and a mission to take the extremist movement global.

Last week, 42-year-old Jawlani triumphantly entered Aleppo, Syria’s second-largest city, as the leading commander of the Turkish-backed rebel force dominated by his group, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham. Unexpected and swift, his victory marks one of the most dramatic moments in a Middle East that has had no shortage of drama.
