this hymn has a theology from hell, they sing: “That Thou, my God, shoudst die for me?” and that “The Immortal dies”
that is all lies, the immortal who dies is not immortal, and God can’t die:
God: "who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen." (1 Timothy 6:16)
the one who died for to save mankind was the man #Christ #Jesus, not #God

Amen. Thankfulness helps us sort our priorities, and keep our chin up for sure.
For me, if I congratulate myself for what I have, it tricks me into a mentality that others should do like I do and they'd be OK.
We'd all be strong and capable every day if we could, but we can't. We've all been helpless babes and we'll hopefully grow to be old, wise, and yes - weak.
Gratitude toward God helps me remember to pay it forward while I can; to be humble, and to share with the needy. I become like whatever I admire.
When I use my strength to make things fair for the weak, I understand what it means to be a child of my heavenly Father.
Amen to Romans 8:28! "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
My life has seen a few times when I didn't have #3goodhings to write down. The Lord's presence, comfort, and example helped me carry my cross in those times. A dearth of blessing can make a person panic and turn to selfish crimes or lies to resolve their situation. As a #Christian though, I know whatever suffering I face, the Spirit of the Lord #Jesus will guide me through it. As long as I'm faithful to our covenant, He will never leave or forsake me.
