:verified_2:防空識別區𝒔𝒐𝒄𝟶:redstar:<p><span>Spent some time playing with some mirrorless camera systems yesterday. <br><br>Nikon Z6 and Z7 are nice. Nikon Z8 and Z9 are huge for a mirrorless camera system. None of them were very appealing, although they were certainly the best overall compared to Canon and Sony (considering design, functionality, UI/UX, lens lineup, mount, IBIS, etc.). None had any sort of "soul" that one still gets, to some extent, with a DSLR like the D850 even.<br><br>Sony and Canon had very impressive autofocus. Canon </span><i>seemed</i><span>, in the user experience, to have better or more active autofocus---although, this is mostly a performance, as Sony objectively has the superior autofocus system. Nikon wasn't bad on the autofocus front, but it wasn't as good as Sony nor Canon. Canon had better ergonomics than the Sony, but trash layout. Sony layout was better than Canon, but poor ergonomics and sterile feeling. Nikon 100% wins out in ergonomics and layout.<br><br>I didn't shoot with the Panasonic Lumix S5, but it was also very huge size-wise for a mirrorless camera system. Seemed to have the best build quality, but kinda poor across all the other metrics against the competition.<br><br>The </span><i>nicest</i> system I touched was Fujifilm. Lovely design, great layout, awesome tactile physical controls, good size and weight. Build quality on Fujifilm felt "just okay", but the cameras just <i>beckoned</i> you to hold them, touch them, and shoot with them. Really, really fun and enjoyable. Menu system kinda retarded, though, and raw specifications objectively inferior to both Nikon, Sony, and Canon---but, it was the only system that made me <i>feel</i> like I <i>wanted</i> to shoot with it. That seemed like I wouldn't mind carrying it around in a bag and traveling with it.
