Stopped by my dads today to go over some highlights from World War 1. The amount that he covered is really just a small percentage, as there's so much more to see and learn about. As always, it's imperative that we preserve and teach history so that it doesn't repeat itself. Hope you enjoy this video!
After watching both, my husband commented that the triangular blades on the bayonets made wounds that did not heal.
A regular knife wound would cause inflamation on both sides, which could seal up and eventually heal.
The triangular blades, though, caused wounds that had no "opposite side" to heal against, and therefore would not heal easily.
Warfare is horrendous.
