For those who care to know. This is the work I do. My business is just me and one partner. We rehab culverts and storm drains and grout the annular space (space between the old pipe and the new liner). I worked for my partner for 8 years bookkeeping, managing their jobs, and sometimes on site, especially on-site since 2018 when I left the health care industry.
I also sell real estate.
@DeezMistaReez that's the main reason we're in business for ourselves.
@Truther -- very cool. Thank you for helping maintain important infrastructure!
Thank you! I really enjoy this line of work. It's very rewarding and keeps me active.
@Truther -- I bet! Plus abundant fresh air and sunshine.
@Truther Did you do any work in Northern Oregon like this?
@BrandiSmile yes, we did quite a bit of slip lining in Oregon when we were exclusive distributors of the liner (Snap-Tite). We haven't been back there in a little while though.
@Truther The city I used to live in (was President of the Chamber of Commerce) was starting this right before I left several years back. East side of the Willamette Valley.
@BrandiSmile we need to do some road trips and get it front of people again, because engineers and public work folks retire or move on and our information doesn't get passed on. However, with all the restrictions in WA and OR, I'm not excited to have a masked meeting.
