Loooong Thread Lol.😁

Hello FAm!

I'm back- well truthfully I never left, but I am ending my "internet hiatus". I missed you all very much! I thought of you everyday, different people at different times, & when you came to mind, I prayed for you. I did NOT miss the news. Day 1 I caught my self opening the Mastodon app at least 10+ times! I became conscious of how often I open an app without even choosing to do it. I'm on FA mostly, but I bounce around several Telegram channels & Truth Social.

I was obsessively searching for news all the time & needed a break. The first thing I noticed was how tired I felt the 1st few days because my brain was not receiving that "hit". No joke- I slept better every night. At times I felt bored & had to resist the urge to "fill the time" as I worked on being still & present. Take a break once in awhile- you will be surprised at how much what you're reading everyday affects you physically. I plan to strive for a little more balance in my day & to

to break weekly.

My visit with my parents did not go as planned. As a matter of fact, it didn't go at all. Mom & Dad were supposed to fly here on Aug 3rd & stay until Aug 17 but Mom called a couple days before to tell us that Dad's bp was out of whack. His dr did not reccomend that he fly or travel at all as they adjusted his meds & worked to get his bp stable. His dr. will be doing some more testing to try & figure out what's going on. Please pray for my dad.❤🙏

We then planned to kennel our dog & drive the
11 hrs to NJ, but Malcolm was recovering from kennel cough & couldn't be boarded. We were also unaware that even though he was towards the end of his 10 days of antibiotics, he was still very contagious & we couldn't take him with us- though we considered it initially. He obviously couldn't safely be around other dogs & my sister, who lives with my parents, has a dog. This visit was just not to be at this time. My parents still want to come &

are planning to reschedule their flights in a few
weeks when they hope Dad's bp is better. We are also moving forward with the plans to move my parents in with us.

Once we settled into having a "stay-cation", we tackled some of those little, annoying projects that aren't complicated but can be time consuming- shredding paper, filing & decluttering. My husband cleared off his desk & did some journaling. I exercised, meditated & took a nap most days.

On 8/10 my SIL, who lives in Las Vegas, asked us if we wanted some company & flew out the next day. Joe picked Lori up Thursday @7:30am & she stayed with us until Sunday night- so we ended up with company anyway. They spent some time going through some old things that were taken out of their parents' house when they were cleaning it out to put it up for sale.

I stayed offline until "The Pit". I tuned in for an hour or so that Saturday afternoon until we all got ready to hit the casino. The whole visit was enjoyable as we cooked, ate & visited with one another.

The last thing I'll share about my "stay-cation" is about the election town hall I attended on 8/16. A group of about 2000 Hoosier patriots accross the state of IN have been canvassing voters & compiling data from the 2020 election for over a year. Below is some of the info, but more can be

found @ indianafirstaction.com .

An engineer in the "data group" shared graphs that demonstrated a very similar voting "pattern" accross all of the counties he made a graph for indicating that there was something "controlling" the voting. He said that it is just statistically impossible for the voting in every county to behave the same way.

A man, whose wife I know, shared his personal story about 1being a poll worker in 2020. He was very excited about it- was there all the way to the end through the counting when he was asked to pull out what he described as a "steamer trunk" full of ballots. After he did that, the guy "in charge" told Steve he could go. Steve said no, I don't mind, I want to stay & do my duty. The guy, who Steve said was a Democrat, again told Steve to leave & things began to escalate. At this point, the guy

"in charge" calls over the officer that was there & asks him to remove Steve. The officer then tells Steve that he will be arrested if he doesn't leave, so he does. Steve has so much regret- he said that he wished he would have stayed & gotten arrested but he was in shock over what was happening. He said maybe the arrest would have brought attention to
the cheating.

I get how he felt. We're regular, law-abiding people not "troublemakers"- not used to having to fight like this, in complete shock over the theft of the 2020 election, the fact that our "perfect" American system didn't immediately rectify the steal & sick over what's currently happening in our country. Steve is probably in his 60's with family who fought in WW2- he LOVES the USA & said that repeatedly. We're ALL different now- harder, pissed off & rightfully so. We understand that NONE OF US

can afford to be passive. That we must INSIST on our rights & freedom.

The group also had our county's voter histories so one by one we could check to see if it was accurate & fill out an affidavit if it wasn't. There were a few who filled one out.

Incidentally, IN First Action has caught national attention & Marie, the self-described "mad grandma" & affectionately known as "momma bear" in our TG chat who started the group, will be appearing on Mike Lindell's show this

weekend.

I gotta tell ya- my mood was pretty somber when I left & through the night. The incident with Steve occurred less than 10 miles from my house. I don't know what to do with that except to stay the course- keep showing up- get involved- get educated- & use my pissed-off-edness to not take any crap- refuse to back down.

That's it- hubby went back to work Wednesday.
I had 1 more day so I got an hour massage &
went back to work on Thursday.😁

I just listened to @justhuman 's Pit analysis this morning & I am 100% focused on exposing the fraud in the 2020 election & the mid term elections- every other news story is just noise to me. I plan to work the polls again in November.

I'm rested, centered & ready to STAND FIRM & PUSH BACK. I'm happy & grateful to be on your team & back in the fight with you all!❤🇺🇸

@pamby1
Praying for your dad Pam. Hopefully they can visit very soon.🙏❤️ @justhuman

@pamby1 @justhuman

Thanks for the update. And welcome back!

@pamby1 Welcome back, Pamby! Wowser! That's some lots bumps staycation! 😳 Glad you got to go on a journey and had fun! Prayers up for your dad! 🙏 Yes, we fight on, my sister! ❤👊💪👍🇺🇸

@justhuman

@pamby1 @justhuman

Welcome back, you were missed! Your 'what I did on my summer vacation" thread was like being there, but it wasn't a restful time, was it.

@1031 Lol. Thank you- I missed you too.😊 It was pretty restful- we had almost a week at home by ourselves until my SIL came. Even then we didn't do a whole lot running around. The weather has really started to cool off in the evening so we were hanging out on the deck most nights talking & looking at the sky.🤷‍♀️😁

@pamby1 @justhuman
Wonderful!!!❤️

@pamby1
Doing pretty well my dear, carrying on the good fight. Next CT 31 August, figuring the ivermectin knocked out that last spit of cancer😊 Glad you were able in peace take a break away from the noise.❤️

@pamby1

Good thread Pamby and glad to see you back. I am sorry about your dad and will pray for that BP. It can mess a lot of things up.

@MMA Hey Girl! I'm glad to be back. It was a good break but I missed you all.❤😁 You doing ok? Anything new with the case & your job?

@pamby1

Today I just turned in my evidence on a thumb drive. 497 files, waaaay too much to email. I do not have WinZip on my laptop, it's too expensive and I can't use my work laptop for personal stuff, nor would I want them in my biz.

I have to get my hard drives from the computer repair shop. I'll do that shortly, don't want to pull a Hunter Biden and forget them! I'll try to get the data off it later when I have more $$.

Lisa and I are meeting for breakfast tomorrow in Fort Worth.

@MMA Geez things move slow!🙄

It is so cool that you're meeting Lisa! I'm sure your friendship has made that big move a little easier.❤

Looks like we will be combining households with my parents. Any advice you wanna share about living with your aging parents?!?😁

@pamby1

I do my best to make mom's space beautiful. I've encorporated a lot of her decorating style with my own so she wouldn't feel erased. She loves blue and white china so I have lamps made of that and other touches.

I listen to loud music when I'm in my car, not in the house.

She has her own snacks, and mini frig, like a hotel-stocked just for her. A comfy setting area in her room so she can watch TV. I got her a teak wood shower stool so she could sit in the tub to shower.

I made her a sitting area outside, not that she uses it!

I go over meals with her and try to plan them with her so she has some input. I let her cook but I hover nearby so I can help with things like carrying a roasting pan to the oven.

I give her small jobs to do, but the bulk of the housework is on me. Most of all I just make sure we have a lot of space and boundaries and I do try to live my life.

I bring friends over for meals, and I go out to meet my friends. No guys though-ever!

@MMA That sounds nice. Mom & I have been talking over the last few days about what she should keep & what to get rid of. They've been decluttering for a few months now & sold one of their vehicles since Dad doesn't drive anymore. I told Mom to save some Christmas ornaments that are special so that we can "blend" the tree. Dad has a favorite lazy boy & his little table. Mom has newer furniture so we're going to use her couch. She asked me to paint her room "grey". Lol.

@pamby1

It's small things that help. It is hard for her to be in the child position so I try to understand that and not make a big deal about it. And evening time, I go to my room and she goes to hers. The TV in her room helps.

I refuse to have TV in the common living spaces because then it's not only harder to clean, she keeps me up by watching it late. There were a few fights about that.

My mom is a messy. Which has been the hardest thing for me. I insist her mess goes with her.

@MMA Our house isn't huge but there is some room for modification if we decide to stay in this house- my husband thinks we'll need a bigger house for everyone to have their own space & be comfortable. I'm not opposed to it. "We'll see what happens."😁 I don't doubt that there will be a "Period of Adjustment". Remember that movie?

@MMA

You should be able to find an open source (free) file zipper. I think windows 10 includes one.

@SkatyG

This is the thing. This laptop is 4 months old and has accursed windows freaking 11. I hate all windows but all versions after 2015 are extra satanic. I want 7 back.

@MMA

I have yet to be introduced to Windows 11. I'm hoping it won't be soon. I need a new laptop but it would come with 11 I'm sure. Delay... Delay... Delay...

@SkatyG

Indeed. Even with Windows 10 I only work in a local user account.

I would (will) do the same for 11.

@MMA

@hejoural

I'll probably come closer to getting my feet wet with Win11 at work..yep, it's a network. No chance of local user there. Even though we have a outside IT admin, I'm on site and I'm usually get the first call for help. We have a pretty good turn on hardware/software but I haven't bought any workstations since 11 came out.

@MMA

@HSTG

I had a Unix server in my network at the mfg company. Is Linux command line?

@MMA

Ubuntu gives you the same as Windows, you can do one or the other.

@HSTG

Exactly what I was going to suggest. I’m a little late to the game but will be diving in to Linux soon I hope!

I was talking to someone who said they have two internal hard drives and run Linus on one and windows on the other due to work need.

Also, he had a 24 year old laptop (doorstop) that was useless and installed Linux (puppy?) and it works perfectly!

Because we know Windows is the virus. ..As is Gates.

@SkatyG @MMA

@HeyLiberty

I've hated windows since '90 when 3.0 came out. It's only gotten worse with every release. Grrr... 😡

@HSTG @MMA

@SkatyG

💯 why you (and me!) need to learn Linux. It will be huge for me, but open source is worth it. There is a whole Telegram group and full support webpage. We have to pull away from these evil doers in ALL ways.

@HeyLiberty

I happen to be running my own customized version of the puppy.

@HSTG @SkatyG @MMA

@malokvale77

Very cool! One day I hope to know what that actually looks like. 😂

@HSTG @SkatyG @MMA

@HeyLiberty

I have the most beautiful desktop.

I don't know if I can post a screen shot to FA.

@HSTG @SkatyG @MMA

@HSTG

I'm Linux all the way.

Microsoft and the Apple are pure evil to me.

@SkatyG @MMA

@SkatyG

That's some sauce you don't want to try.

@MMA

thanks for the heads up.

@pamby1

Welcome back, sweet Pam! 🥰💐🌻🥂 🌸🌟 You were missed but I’m so happy to hear you are rested.
Your Dad is in my prayers!!! 🙏🏼 ☦️

@LeaTXlrp Lol. Thank you Lea! I missed you & my FAm!🥰😘
