We have been told butter, coffee, salt, fat, and magnesium is bad for you. Well, the first thing you need to know about coffee is that it's not just any drink. It's more than that. #Coffee has its own unique #benefits, which we're going to cover in this post. But before that, let me give you a quick tip: **always brew your coffee with good quality beans for the best taste and health benefits.**

So what are the advantages of drinking coffee? Let's get into it. First off, coffee is great for #weight management. That's right! The chlorogenic acid in coffee helps regulate glucose absorption in your body. What this means is that when you drink coffee, it prevents a sudden spike or drop in blood sugar levels. This is because chlorogenic acid slows down the release of insulin in response to high blood sugar caused by eating or drinking something with lots of sugar. Insulin is essential for regulating your body's metabolism and helping your cells use glucose as fuel, but excessive insulin can make you feel hungry and overeat. So, coffee is a natural way to manage weight gain, which is why it has become popular among fitness enthusiasts! If you have ever experienced the afternoon energy slump that makes you want to take a nap instead of finishing your work, then you will benefit from what coffee can do for you. Coffee boosts mental alertness and reduces fatigue. The caffeine in coffee helps stimulate the central nervous system (CNS) by blocking adenosine receptors - chemicals that slow down brain activity.
This results in a temporary boost to brain function. So, if you're looking for something natural to help improve your productivity, then coffee is the way to go! Lastly, coffee is known to reduce #stress and #anxiety levels. This may come as a surprise because many people associate caffeine with causing anxiety. However, #scientific #research has shown that coffee actually reduces #cortisol levels in the body - cortisol being the #hormone responsible for managing stress.

GM Nostr. What is good today?

Switching up my morning coffee routine a little bit. I am going with only mugs from Aeropress instead of a French Press then an Aeropress or two after.

I maybe need to pick up a larger mug or the Aeropress XL and a carafe.

The coffee is so much better but way more trips to the kitchen.

Loaded up with the last of my Ethiopian Yirgacheffe.

Rounding out the week with video editing, a little more recording and hopefully a blog post.

Make it a great day.

I use two different types of dialogue notebooks for different purposes. When it's time to switch notebooks, I carry two, the old one and the new one, so I currently have four in my bag.

Coffee Becoming Unaffordable? Discussing the Coffee Economic 'Crisis'

I hope this video, albeit a bit long and dense, was helpful to shed light on the current affairs of coffee pricing.

This is a serious issue that needs addressing immediately, and the more people cognizant of the issue, the better.

It is high time we focus on producers, what they are actually making, and ensuring they are empowered to live and work in a sustainable manner.
