I woke up to a text from my daughter that included photo of the baby nursing: She wrote: You’re missing it. He’s so remarkable and you’re missing it.

@1031
I'm sorry but....what a f-ing bish. I thought you couldn't see him until he was vaxxed at 6 months?
So excess deaths esp in middle age group of up to 30% for two years straight don't make her curious at all?

1031

@CONSERVATARIAN

I was speechless.

As far as my husband and I knew, we either get the booster, or we don't see the baby until he's vaxed at 6 months old.

In my kindest moment, I would say that our daughter is also grieving her parents not having met her baby, and the text was a last ditch effort to get us to get the booster shot.

But it felt mean.

@CONSERVATARIAN

Which way, that it was a mean text or that it was a last ditch effort to get us boosted?

@1031
Sorry. Last ditch effort. Any chance her husband is even more of a vax believer than her?

@CONSERVATARIAN

Her husband, I suspect, takes his lead from our daughter who has, after all, the PhD. Her sources for Covid information are wildly different from mine.

What does NOT help, something for which I have no explanation, is that NO ONE they know has suffered harm from the vax & booster. Not neighbors, friends, family, co-workers, no one.It makes us, her parents, look like nutters. I'm glad they're all ok, but when she doesn't hear it, read it, or see it, the jab & boosters are fine

@1031
Intellectual curiosity isn't a attribute with the left. Their brains can't go there.
They know no one within their circle and their loved ones who had a stroke, heart attack, or died?
Ask why, then ask again.

@1031
Personally know 3 people who had strokes ,1 died from a heart attack, 1 died from mysterious sudden heart issues (fibrosis), 1 died from lung fibrosis. Mostly people older than me between 60-75.

@CONSERVATARIAN

Thanks, Kathryn, you are a comfort to me here, & I appreciate it.

Your comment reminded me of something attributed to the film critic, Pauline Kael, though others say she never said it.

She was baffled that Richard Nixon won the election because nobody she knew voted for him.

Because the arrogance sounds like a leftie, I chose to believe she said it. My daughter was raised to be more intellectually honest, but I fear academia destroyed it. She would protest vociferously

@1031
Seems as though Academia destroys critical thinking. Longer a person spends in school, higher the level of destruction.
Hugs for you and praying for her to come to her senses.

@CONSERVATARIAN

Thanks. I don't hold out hope that she will see the light. I would settle for a warm, non controversial relationship so I can dote on her son, and love her anyway

@1031 @CONSERVATARIAN @Lori

Does she really not know anyone who suffered harm? Or if any harm was suffered, it’s definitely not due to the DeathVaxx? There was some other mysterious cause?

Of course She wants you to be there, but thinks you’re the cause of not being there.

In reality she’s trying to coerce you to do something in the name of “safety” while holding a grandchild over your head. Similar to “inject a poison to keep your job”.

I pray for a breakthrough for everyone’s sake. 🙏💕

@HeyLiberty @CONSERVATARIAN @Lori

I don't think you are wrong. Our daughter really does not know anyone harmed by the vax, nor, actually do we personally (yet), but we read and hear things we find credible & aren't willing to take the risk.

She identifies as a scientist, a PhD in microbiology backs her up. But we suspect what she believes is what many now call "scientism," & I don't know of a cure.

I appreciate your prayers, I surely do.

@1031 @CONSERVATARIAN @Lori

My heart truly breaks for you all.
May the Lord hear our prayer.

🙏

@HeyLiberty @CONSERVATARIAN @Lori

Awww, thank you! I will meet my grandchild one day. I'm just grieving for the time I've missed in his precious early babyhood, and for the hurt that is now wedged between my daughter and her parents.

@1031 @CONSERVATARIAN @Lori

🥰💕🙏🙏🙏

Prayers for God to remove the wedge and for the love to grow for all.

@1031 @CONSERVATARIAN My daughter is the same way, but doesn’t have any college on her resume.

I told her a couple of years ago that since she is so concerned about protecting her child’s health from the unvaxxed, to let me know when she thinks the pandemic is over. Crickets.

@curtis @CONSERVATARIAN

Crickets, indeed.

It will always be something, I suspect. Always a new variant. Now they're pushing RSV, lethal in infants, but older adults in good health & living at home? That would be a no.
