Minisforum has started publishing firmware updates to LVFS! This is awesome, I had previously almost bricked my device attempting to update its firmware by hacking apart the windows files.

So we need Wayland on X11 (not xwayland. In reverse!!!!!).
But the best would be that next UEFI moves to become hypervisor and all OS'es running on it is mandated to call UEFI runtime services to cope with hardware (no direct access to be forbidden). And if the runtime services for displays are kinda variant of X11, Wayland should be forced to become much X11 like.
