#Spring #snow? Maybe kinda but really early March is still winter here. After warm and dry weather for a while, we had fresh snow Monday- not cold, just near average- a little above freezing daytime, colder nights. The moisture is important for soil, trees, wetland recharging etc.

In the shade, deep in the crevices of the rocks, snow settles down, snuggles down for a long stay.

But the stay won't be forever.

Spring, as jolly and cheerful as she is, is inexorable as well, and the warmth of her golden sun will eventually reach the coolness, the darkness, of those rocks.

I feel spring coming . . .

The coastal scenes between Anstruther and Crail.

My first NEW work from this area. For me, a stand out feature from this stretch of the coastline are the Caiplie Caves; ancient sea caves that now stand completely alone. Incredible place.
