We need to build oil and natural gas pipelines from coast to coast to coast so that we are no longer dependent on USA for our energy exports. We can't afford to only have a single market for our oil and gas. We should be able to pipe gas and oil to ports on the BC and Atlantic coasts as well as to the port in Churchill MB so that we can export it to other countries that will give us a better deal than America. And for Churchill, so we can better support the territories.

In addition to building pipelines, something needs to be done about the Nipigon bottleneck in northern Ontario for cross-country road traffic. We need an all-season highway that goes around the north end of Lake Nipigon and into Manitoba to add resilience to the road network.

Forging better connections across the country and reducing reliance on America for our energy (and other) exports is the only way we're going to get through this.
