2/ Among the revelations: Farrar asked that discussion of the lab origins hypothesis be changed from a statement that it was “unlikely” to “improbable,” and Kristian Andersen immediately agreed. Both Farrar and directly involved in its preparation.
Andersen’s role in this entire affair, as strongly suggested before from FOIA docs and now definitively demonstrated in this new evidence, was to do exactly what Fauci and Farrar wanted to suppress the lab origins hypothesis.

3/ One good thing: Congress and its investigators (a very skilled bunch) can go where redacted FOIA requests can’t go. The redactions by NIH were obviously intended to hide the truth and conformed with no legal exemptions in the Act.
Others have Tweeted this email from Jeremy Farrar to Kristian Andersen, lead author of the Proximal Origins paper, but it cannot be emphasized enough: This was NOT an independent scientific evaluation but a paper made to order for political purposes.
