Bingo. At least you expect the knife to come from a radical democrat.
If the least three years have taught me anything, it's that we wouldn't be where we are right now had it not been for complicit republicans.

We need to stop looking at Republican/Democrat, and start looking at Conservative/Non-Conservative.
I'm done arguing with Leftists, "Progressives", "Liberals", socialists, communists, etc. Because they (no matter how nice or related to me) are causing the problems.
I am pretty fed up with "Libertarians" and other pseudo-purists. Because they are chasing perfection while the country burns.
The Republicans spearheaded ending slavery & reducing government.

But, there have been so many "centrists" and "across the aislers" and outright traitors among Republicans for the past 50 years, that I am over the idea of continuity from noble origins.
If you are not Republican, I am not even considering a vote for you.
And, if you are not Conservative, being Republican does not matter to me anymore.

I've refined my political affiliation even beyond Republican or Conservative.
I am MAGA.I take my cue from two sources: The world of the dog fancy, & airplanes.
From dogs I learned the importance of balance: A dog structurally out of proportion is inefficient, lacks endurance, & is miserable. So is a country.
From air travel, what I learned I now pose to anyone reading. If oxygen masks drop, what is the first thing they tell you to do? I'll wait.....
@1031 @AngryDuey @icare4america
Absolutely true. Jesus and the writers of the NT made the same points. Seeking wisdom and balance is a lifesaver, for us as well as those our lives impact. I prayed for them daily for decades, per the Lord's instruction. I may not have made it to "the top of the mountain" yet, but I'm a'climbing still.
@DianaSez @AngryDuey @icare4america
Throw a rope down at me, would you? I'm still behind you, I suspect, on that mountain.
@1031 @AngryDuey @icare4america
Have you ever read the book "Hind's Feet on High Places" by Hannah Hunard? It was a treasure to me. I keep giving my copies away and then the replacements. I go back and reread it at least once a decade.
@DianaSez @AngryDuey @icare4america
I haven't! I will look for it, thanks! One of the books on the topic that I also treasure is "Beyond Our Selves" by Catherine Marshall.
@1031 @AngryDuey @icare4america
Yes, Catherine Marshall is great.
Hind's Feet on High Places is an allegory like Pilgrim's Progress, but it is about growing spiritually and learning to trust the Lord, rather than just the baby steps of PP. I found it at just the right place in my walk, and I've seen it help many others in the same place, since.
