If you have any understanding of spiritual warfare you will understand that we are in the midst of a battle. A battle between the forces of evil, i.e. the gods,  and the Almighty God.

Ephesians 6:12
[12] For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

Through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, any eternal claim on our souls was stripped from the evil one as long as we rest in that Work of Redemption.

We are ushering in the Kingdom of God one soul, one piece of hallowed ground (wherever a believer is), at a time. And the forces of evil don’t like it.

In the midst of this stands a nation founded by men and women willing to cross an ocean, land in a foreign place without resources or shelter, and did so because they knew the ability to worship God in freedom and liberty was worth dying for.

And in doing so they laid a claim on yet another land under the domain of evil. If you know the history of brutal human sacrifice among the cultures of North, Central, and South America you will understand how much that domain of evil needed to be broken and replaced with the peace and joy of Salvation in Christ.

And for years the body of Christ has spread the message of the gospel throughout this nation. We have not been perfect. We have participated in wrong doing and not glorified God as we should have. But the continual march towards reclaiming evil for good has happened. And everywhere believers dwell are little points of light threatening to drown out the darkness. This nation, the USA, is a threat to the domain of the evil ones. They must see its end!

Now enter our current “modern/woke” times. The marching agenda of Marxism, CRT, gender confusion, etc. All of this seeks to replace the life saving power of God with the weak efforts of man that can never save. Man becomes the standard and his woefully inadequate abilities are the best we can hope for.

There is no redemption for your confused mind, just chop off your body parts and stare at a distorted view of yourself in the mirror, while pretending you are satisfied and made whole. There is no overcoming death, suffering, or obstacles in His grace and power. Only the promise of perpetual oppression until everyone around you, that you can’t possibly hope to control, changes. What does this yield? ENSLAVEMENT, BONDAGE. To who? The evil ones and their puppets.

It makes sense to me then that we see the subtle creeping of such falsehoods/lies into the church. As the light drowns out the darkness what else can the darkness hope to do but diminish or snuff out the light in a desperate attempt to delay its own end. This is why the call of a believer to put on the armor of God and to STAND is so important. We are the light bearers and our job is important.

Ephesians 6:13
[13] Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.

Why is being a light bearer important? Well think of the of the souls plagued by the ideology of the Left. They are filled with the lies of the evil one, meant for one purpose only, to hold them in bondage. They are twisted, perverted, tortured perpetually by their own minds because they’ve let the lies in.

13)

But here come the light bearers, speaking truth. “You don’t have to be confused, you don’t have to be frustrated, you don’t have to be filled with anger until it pollutes everything beautiful in this life, placed here for us to enjoy by a good God. Listen to Him, follow His life giving ways, and be set free!”

And if they look up from their misery and accept that gift of truth, they are set free!

And once again the dominion of the evil ones shrinks a little more!

@justhuman stream on Wednesday got me really thinking about how I view the “other side.” If you haven’t watched it, it’s totally worth it!

I think we’ve lost our focus and I understand why. It’s easy to get discouraged. There are so many participating in evil. Yes, they choose to be used by the evil ones. They prefer darkness, and maybe they  truly are irredeemable. Maybe only God knows for sure.

But the majority of the people being twisted and fomented right now are just weak minded souls bound in chains. We must remember that! We must keep that in mind as we speak the truth to them. We must be LIGHT bearers!

So what do we do? How does this affect our daily lives?

REMEMBER! Remember the POWER that resides in YOU! The Holy God of Heaven has placed His Spirit in YOU that you might bear His light and deliver those bound from their chains.

LIVE! Live the beautiful life He has given you, every single day, in the fullness that comes from following His life giving principles!

SHOW! Show the world the power and the difference that comes from being a light bearer, that comes from walking with the True God, that comes from being filled with His Spirit and purpose!

TAKE BACK! Take back the culture by being you, IN HIM. Inch by inch, reclaim it by infusing light where darkness used to reign supreme. There’s no need to be angry at those who are lost, they are literally bound in chains in darkness. There’s no need to fear those who foment evil, they have already lost (and they know it)! Beat back the darkness every single day by living in the power of God and His redemption.

And if you are lost too, then hear the call of the True God who offers you life, peace, and eternal rest. No more mental torment. No more perpetual anger. No more defeatism or desperation. Just love, service, and peace all in the power and grace of God.

Just call to Him! He is waiting for you!
